91 歲 Judi Dench 喺新自傳《Is It Too Late to Make a Run for It?》入面揭秘，2004 年 Vin Diesel 為説服佢加盟《The Chronicles of Riddick》，親身去咗 Haymarket Theatre 揾佢，而喺他到訪之前，仲預先送咗一束「 kayak 長 kayak 闊」嘅花，大到連樓梯都搬唔上到佢化妝間，最後只能擺喺舞台門口。
佢喺書入面原話：「Before he arrived, he sent me such a massive bunch of flowers. They couldn't get them up the stairs to my dressing room, so they had to leave them at the stage door. They were easily the length of a kayak. And as wide.」
跟住 Dench 自己就笑自己：「You can't say no to a man like that, can you? I'm cheap as chips, me. Far too easily wooed.」— 翻譯成人話：「你同咁樣嘅男人會講唔？我老實講就係好易被人『攻陷』。」

結果呢，佢真喺《The Chronicles of Riddick》（2004）入面演咗 Aereon，一個引導 Riddick（Vin Diesel 飾）一路打去 Nekromonger 帝國嘅「元素大使」角色。
但 kayak 花唔算佢最誇張嘅「收禮就點頭」紀錄。佢仲自爆，2017 年《Murder on the Orient Express》入戲時，導演 Kenneth Branagh 送咗條「最精緻嘅繡花手帕，上面刺住角色嘅姓名首字母」俾佢。Dench 原話：「He must've known that'd make me say yes; he's so sneaky. But then I'd do anything for Ken. If he said, 'Will you play a mat on the floor in Three Sisters?' I'd say, 'When do I start?'」— 就算 Branagh 同佢講「你入《三姊妹》扮演一塊地氈，得唔得？」佢都話「幾時開工？」。佢仲話慢慢知道《東方快車》班底有 Olivia Colman、Penélope Cruz、Johnny Depp、Derek Jacobi，「How could I resist?」

Dench 喺《東方快車》入面演 Princess Natalia Dragomiroff，佢自己對呢個角色都唔太 buy，原話：「Don't ask me anything about her. She was some old broad who sat around with a lot of jewelry and a couple of Shih Tzus — one black, one white.」（唔好問我佢嘅事，佢就係一個戴滿珠寶、身邊坐住兩隻沙皮狗——一隻黑一隻白——嘅老女人。）
**姣姐講多句：**呢單嘢最搞笑唔係花幾大，係 Judi Dench 91 歲仲可以咁 candid 講自己「好易被人 wooed」。呢種英式老派大花嘢同 Hollywood 肌肉男用 bouquet 搞 marketing 嘅反差，本身就係一部喜劇。Vin Diesel 做 marketing 其實做得幾到位，就係呢度 kayak 長嘅花，真係幾費。
