美國鄉村樂壇傳奇 Dolly Parton 喺8月25日因癌症病逝，嗚聲至今未斷。佢嘅歌迷喺洛杉磯又有機會再感受佢嘅音樂：Fever 嘅 Candlelight 系列10月30日喺 Marina del Rey 嘅 Ritz-Carlton 舉辦 tribute 場，由弦樂四重奏以古典編曲重現一眾經典歌。
首場喺 Ritz-Carlton 大禮堂，數百支電燭環繞樂手，由 Orchid Quartet 領軍，暫定15首曲目。除咗「Jolene」「Coat of Many Colors」「9 to 5」，仲有「I Will Always Love You」——首歌喺1992年由 Whitney Houston 再錄後更紅。其他包括「Islands in the Stream」（同 Kenny Rogers 嘅對唱）、「Wildflowers」（1987年 Trio 專輯）、早期嘅「Dumb Blonde」同「Just Because I'm a Woman」。
呢個 intimate 場面同 Dolly 慣常嘅大面積舞台、亮片服裝差好遠。Fever 係獨立單位，呢場 tribute 唔受 Parton 遺產方面贊助或聯署。12月4日仲有一場喺 Los Angeles Equestrian Center。
同時間，Miley Cyrus 本週末喺 Hollywood Bowl 唱「Jolene」，就同 Dolly 做 goddaughter 嘅多年關係感嘆，引起音樂界一波 tribute。
